Evaluating Websites

Personally I did not like the Google website because none of the links at the bottom; including the Privacy Policy, "About Google", "We're Hiring", and "Site Map"; did not work, when you clicked on them it brought up a page that said error. The next website, the Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie, hadn't been recently updated, it was created on 12/31/1997 and last updated on 12/23/2008. Also, you cannot tell if the author is qualified to write the info or not. Also you can't tell if either of the websites are valid, but you can infer that they are not. Mankato.gov seems like a very trusting site, and the first site does not. The third site doesn't seem very trusting because it is wiki so anybody can edit it.

Citation Critiques

My overall favorite citation cite of the three, (EasyBib, Citation Machine, & SourceAid) was EasyBib, it was the least confusing and the simplest setup of the three websites. Also it had the autocite feature which was easier than manually entering all of your information. I liked Citation Machine the second best because it wasn't as hard to figure out and you could enter more useful information.

One of Roosevelt’s friends and a famous explorer Candido Rondon, where he cut his leg on a boulder and suffered from Malaria. Avatars

1. An Avatar is a virtual "person" that you can create and personalize online.
2. Someone might use an Avatar to use if they are a teacher, or some sort of Graphic Designer, or even just for fun toput on a personal blog.
3. No...
4. Of the 3 Avatar websites I like Voki the best it seems easiest to use and the most fun because it lets you have a voice and there is fun settings.

Feed Readers

I have been working on two websites, Google reader and bloglines. Personally I like Google Reader better than bloglines, I think that Google reader is easier to use and less complex. To be able to use bloglines on a regular basis I would have had to start using bloglines first instead of Google reader, just because I got used to the simplicity of Google. Bloglines would also be easier if some taought you how to use it... So overall I like Google Reader best.
